Carbamazepaine:
Baseline: CBC
1 month: CBC, LFTs, carbamazepine level, serum sodium
Then yearly: CBC, LFTs, serum sodium, carbamazepine level

Lithium
Baseline: TSH, BUN/Creatinine, antithyroid peroxidase antibody titers
2 weeks: lithium level, TSH, BUN/Creatinine
6 months: TSH, BUN/Creatinine
Then yearly: TSH, lithium level, chem 7

Oxcarbazepine:
Baseline: serium sodium
1 month: serium sodium
Then prn if concern for hyponatremia

Topiramate:
Baseline: bicarbonate
1 month: bicarbonate
Then prn if concern for metabolic acidosis

Valproic Acid:
Baseline: LFTs, CBC
2 weeks: LFTs, CBC, Depakote level
Then yearly: LFTs (more frequent if concern for hepatitis), CBC (more frequent if easy bruisability)
